SnapJacket is a UV-protected vinyl piling jacket that fits around an existing marine wood piling. Once the jacket is locked in place, the space between the piling and jacket can be filled with concrete, creating a solid repaired piling.

The jacket opens and locks back together around the existing piling, so the structure built above it does not need to be disassembled during installation.

SnapJacket forms a permanent jacket around an existing wood piling. The jacket is locked in place and the space around the piling is filled with concrete. The concrete flows into damaged areas and voids, creating a new solid piling inside the jacket.

How Much Space Is Needed Around the Piling?

A minimum of approximately 1.5 inches of annular space is recommended around the existing piling.

Annular space is the open area between the outside of the wood piling and the inside of the SnapJacket. This space allows concrete to flow around the piling and into its damaged areas and voids.
